Shoutouts

Super Mario Voice: “Woo Hoo!” This shout is for Sean for being reliable, reliable, reliable! Just last evening, he was able to solve two critical on-call issues for guests, a backed up sewage situation and a downed AC system. He accomplished both of these tasks with his usual gusto, elbow grease, and know-how, everything from project managing a vendor at the start of the call to finishing it up by bleaching/sanitizing the shit show(er). Consistently, Sean attacks his jobs with enthusiasm and doesn’t shy away from responding to on-call service requests (much to the relief of those responsible for dispatching him). If there is any justice in this cold world, he’ll be able to respond to his next sewage call with a well-deserved golden plunger at the ready! Rob Plantier
Yesterday, at precisely 5pm we had a guest report a severe ant problem at 14475 and ask for us to come out. That is not quite an on-call standard task, but, like a gift from above at the exact moment I was pleading with Ops to see if anyone could do a quick drop in, Emily checked off 14474 in the home check done channel. I quickly asked Emily if she'd be able to put some traps at 14475, and spoke to Vagner and Thayla to confirm. Emily was very reliable and kindly was able to set up traps for the guests. She saved a guests' stay as I'm sure the issue of ants on the last night would have soured an otherwise pleasant stay. Thank you Emily! Jacqui
OBS-U is not an easy job! More often than not Wills is tasked with letting an owner know something at their house needs to be fixed and they need to dish out the money - usually for an appliance they swear "isn't that old, its only from the 1800s". He does not hesitate picking up the phone and delivering the news in a professional but understanding manner. He has helped gain a lot of trust from our owners from these difficult situations. Thanks Wills for taking these obstacles and taking that opportunity to gain their trust! Your efforts do not go unnoticed, thanks for being a great member of the team! Meg D
Hannah, your can-do attitude and positive energy is so strong, I can feel it through the computer! Maybe I shouldn't get excited if I have an accounting issue, but I do because I get a chance to collaborate with you! I wish I could see your cheerful face every day, but I will settle for our online pleasantries! Thank you for all you do for Del Mar! Carly
Amanda has been extremely helpful this summer! The amount she knows about all the houses is truly impressive. Hearing her speak to guests all day she is always clear and courteous. She has also been super helpful with owner issues regarding guests. You can always rely on her to get the job done and rely on her willingness to support you as a teammate! Thanks for all you do Amanda, it is a pleasure working with you!! Meg D
Kleb is simply amazing! I do not believe there is one person or one department who Kleb has not helped. His cleaning and organizing skills are unparalleled (see inventory shelves for proof) Every time I turn around he has organized a new section of the building to look great and he's always available to lend a hand or point you in the right direction. We are so lucky to have this hardworking team player on our team!! Thanks for all you do Kleb! Carly
"Jacqui, simply put, is a total rockstar. She has implemented no fewer than a dozen major and minor changes/improvements over the past 3 months that benefit so many. I won't even bother to go into the dirty details but suffice it to say, she's like a dog with a bone when it comes to solving problems. Albeit a very fashionable, bedazzled, purebred dog. It's also fair payback because I feel like I've turned the tables fully on now going to Jacqui with way more questions and needs than vice versa.Keep it up, Jacqui!! You embody our value of "The Obstacle is the Opportunity"! Deb
"Jack took on the Gaynors project and with a lot of effort he has done an incredible job so that we can have a new office space as soon as possible, getting rid of the sardine can that has become the third floor in recent times. lol. I can see every day all his effort and hard work, very attentive and always kind to everyone. Jack you are an important member of this whole Del Mar machine and also very much appreciated by all. Thank you for your hard work and your kindness." Vagner
"Well, well, well, we are talking about the VP of Client Services. So everything that you can think of that is related to guests or homeowners Deb will be able to figure out. Deb, since day one, you showed the company that we all can count on you. If it's going to a homeowner's house to close his window that was in a locked room that no one, but you, could have access to the keys. Or if going to Ptown to meet an angry neighbor that called the police because we mistakenly entered his house to clean his grill, or coming to the office on a Sunday to help with the flood. You did all of this and I'm sure you will continue doing it. What I admire about you is that for you, almost everything can be solved. We just need to calm down and think a little bit. Don't panic hahaha. Every time I've had a difficult situation I came to you and you have always helped me find a solution. You are reliable, antifragile, and much more.Thank You Deb!" Camila
RAAALPH!! Every time I see you, whether you’re covered head to toe in dust, just getting back from a hard job at a home, or sawing down another wall in the office, you always stop to say hey with a huge smile on your face. I appreciate your positive attitude, and how you always end an interaction with your signature “be safe!” You're a hard worker, good dude, and Del Mar is lucky to have you! Tyler Rost
Tyler is such a team player and totally embodies what it means to be a Del Marian (Del Martian?) In the past month he has jumped into mowing lawns, photographed homes (and trucks and trailers), fixed TV's, staged houses, set up a partnership with the Cape Cod Baseball league, and even helped the team by following up on outstanding items in Falmouth. And with that big rap sheet, he does it all with a smile. Thank you for all your hard work, Tyler! and please bring Trident back to play! Carly

Hey, so remember that time that person did that thing that was really cool? Shout them out in the chat!
